• Pediatric Cranial Molding - precision measurements of the infant's skull are possible through our laser scanner. Exact fitting improves the therapeutic results of cranial helmets for babies of 3 to 18 months and reveals to physicians and reimbursement sources just how well cranial adjustment is proceeding. This conservative form of treatment often eliminates the necessity of more extreme intervention.
• Scoliosis Intervention - With Nouveau Prosthetic's establishment of the Central New Jersey Scoliosis Treatment Center, adolescents with spinal curvature are being screened earlier for conservative treatment of idiopathic scoliosis. Improved body jacket designs, in many cases, are correcting the degree of curvature, rather than simply slowing it down.
• Wound Care - Nouveau Prosthetics works closely with area hospitals' wound care programs, designing and fitting prosthetic sockets for amputees with slow-to-heal incisions or sensitive residual limbs. Our pedorthic specialists also fit shoe orthoses and orthopedic footwear for people with diabetes to prevent injury to their feet.
• Mastectomy - A team of certified mastectomy fitters travels to various Nouveau Prosthetics patient treatment centers to provide skilled and sensitive assistance to women who have had breast surgery. Their empathy and advice regarding a wide assortment of breast forms and foundation garments helps restore a woman's balance and posture as well as her self-confidence following a mastectomy.
• Sports Medicine - Nouveau's qualified experts in fracture bracing, knee/ankle/foot orthoses, and other orthotic systems ensure that active youths and adults can recover more quickly from sports injuries. The appropriate therapeutic devices provide needed support and also help prevent further damage to affected joints.
• Pedorthics - Highly experienced orthotists can design, fit, and fabricate specialty foot devices, or custom-fit available orthopedic footwear and shoe inserts that cushion, correct certain conditions, or avert damage to foot abnormalities and/or insensitive skin tissue. The right orthopedic footwear provides stability and comfort for older people, keeping them active longer. Pediatric footwear is often a solution for children with foot abnormalities, too.

Nouveau Prosthetics offers eleven patient treatment centers in New York and New Jersey, making orthotic and prosthetic care convenient for many area residents. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and there is  24-hour emergency care available by calling 732-739-0888.

Additionally, Nouveau Prosthetics is proud to be affiliated with a national O&P network of some 70 rehabilitation centers in nine states, primarily along the East Coast. This association expands our pool of professional knowledge as well as encourages economies through group purchasing and managed care contracts, all of which benefit our patients and referral sources.

While we proved extensive care and the highest quality fabrication in our offices and laboratories, Nouveau practitioners make regular visits to see patients in area hospitals, nursing facilities, and retirement centers, accompanied by our mobile fabrication lab as necessary.
